| Choosing the Correct Size Hunter Welly |
Choosing the right size welly without having tried them on can be tricky, so we’ve compiled some information below to help you (hopefully!) get it right first time. But if you don’t, just follow our returns procedure* and we will be happy to exchange them for you.
As a general guideline we normally find that the size you would wear in a shoe is often the correct size in a Hunter Wellington as well. They are generous enough to allow for a thick sock.
Of course this is not always the case and we can’t guarantee that this will be right for everyone – but generally speaking it is a good place to start.
Bear in mind what you are going to be wearing inside your wellies. As Hunter boots are reasonably generous they allow for a thick sock anyway, but you should also consider what trousers you are going to be wearing and whether or not you are likely to need extra room around the calf.
See below for a full size chart showing the measurements of current Hunter boot styles (click for larger).
